These test were carried out using an Epson RD1. All shot at ISO800 on a tripod, exposure set using my Sekonic 358. Focus was on the eyes of the model in the mag picture. Full size available for download and exif on all. Colour as it came from Epson Raw, B&W conversion in Epson Raw. No tweaks whatsoever - what you see is what I got, so sharpness etc is from the lens as is relative contrast. Its clear that not all the lenses are "50mm". Its possible that focus was off slightly on the cron at F2, but its interesting thats the only one showing any problems at any focal length. Not scientific, but interesting. Shows there isn't much to choose between them. The Tri-Elmar (as expected) shows a bit less contrast than the others.
First shot is Nokton at F1.5 then the series shows Summicron 50 latest, Nokton and Hexanon at F2 and then at F4 with the Tri Elmar (2nd ver) as the last of the four and then all four at F8 again in the same (alphabetical) order. Colour versions are simply a repeat of the B&W series.
